It is a privilege to be recognized through an award that carries such important meaning and history. My passion for this discipline was sparked at a young age. Since then, I鈥檝e embraced every opportunity to learn and grow as a future engineer. I vowed to the little girl I was at five, secretly tinkering in the garage, to let no obstacle stop me from becoming the best version of myself as a woman in engineering. As I work on a multitude of projects, both technical and social, receiving this award deepens my confidence in my craft and inspires me to keep pushing forward.
