Artists in Bloom: The 28th edition is on the horizon!
Support Dawson students by buying a ticket and attending!
Artists in Bloom is an annual event held at 蘑菇视频 to raise funds for our students. During the event, talented student artists from the Illustration and Visual Arts Programs create new works of art in real-time before a live audience. These artworks are then auctioned off by a prominent figure from Montreal, with all proceeds going towards Dawson students.
This year, the funds raised will support 蘑菇视频 Mental Health Fund initiatives and also contribute to the artists themselves in helping to fund their vernissages. Over the past 28 years, Artists in Bloom has raised over $175,000 for various charitable causes.
Join us on Thursday, April 16th, starting at 5:30 p.m., to witness Dawson鈥檚 student artists in action as they transform blank canvases into incredible artworks.听Enjoy hors d鈥檕euvres, drinks, live music, and mingle with fellow art enthusiasts while you vote for your favourite painting. There will also be a designated area for children to create their own paintings. Later, watch as the artwork is auctioned off!听
Each ticket includes complimentary hors d鈥檕euvres and one drink, with additional beverages available for purchase at the cash bar.
Schedule
- 5:30 p.m.:听 Doors open at 3C.1
- 6 to 8 p.m.:听 Painting takes place
- 8 p.m.:听 Auction begins
