In the fall of 2022, artificial intelligence sent shockwaves through the education community. What’s the situation 12 months later?<\/p>\n

The AQPC is hosting a panel to discuss the implications for pedagogy caused by the advent of generative artificial intelligence, such as ChatGPT and Dall-E. We believe it is essential to raise awareness among higher education stakeholders of the need to keep abreast of advances in AI, and to reflect on the effects of AI on the very foundation of higher education.<\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/p>\n

  • Taking stock of the disruption experienced in recent months in the college network with regard to the most recent advances in AI<\/li>\n
  • Making the college community aware of the pedagogical opportunities and challenges of AI<\/li>\n
  • Raising awareness among college staff of the importance of keeping informed of the latest advances in AI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t
